Death Star II

This model was released awhile back by AMT. I finally found one and picked it up. First off it's all snap-together. Lots of fun there. But I believe this model will present a number of difficulties.

As you can see from this picture the gaps are atrocious to say the least. I can safely say I'll be using ALOT of putty on this one.

What I have planned with this model is chopping away several large sections along the side and using poly sheets to create the Uncompleted Death Star as seen in Return of the Jedi. Should be alot of fun and I'll be showing the entire process as I go along for those of you who wish to follow in my footsteps!
